Making Whipped Cream, and Turning the Extra into Butter

Turns out that there’s an easy way to make whipped cream, even without an electric mixer. Simply pour heavy whipping cream into a mason jar.

Then, shake it for a minute or a minute and a half — and feel free to open the jar and check on the results as frequently as you’d like. Credit for the trick goes to The Kitchn

However, the result of their productivity was too much freshly whipped cream at the end of the party.
 nowing that it would deflate if left alone, they spooned it into mason jars, and began to shake.


After shaking the jars for 3 or so minutes, the cream began to cavil are into butter.

Eventually, they were rewarded with freshly made butter as well as buttermilk (which they poured off for separate use.)
